But blood pact isn't an increase over Commanding Shout on your warrior, so that seems like a wash. And you had Fort from the holy priest in the original setup. Just saying, not much of a stam increase in the new group you proposed.

Also, come cataclysm, Blood Pact, Commanding Shout, and Fort will not stack (all are straight stamina increases).

Boomkins in 4.0 are much easier to manage, but fall much into the ele shaman category where to maximize dps you have to use the instant starsurge procs that come from moonfire/is ticks effectively and you will have to do some kind of bar switch since the new mechanics REQUIRE you to switch between wrath/starfire depending on your eclipse state. (I.e. you can no longer stay in one eclipe mode, go to neutral and return back, you must see-saw). The other problem is the real inability to castsequence Sunfire into your rotation without it getting hung up or failing all together.

An ele shaman would work very well with your setup, providing buffs that everyone needs and utilizing what everyone else gives. A secondary option would be the mage - which would give you a bloodlust as well come cataclysm.

The more I hear about Cataclysm the more I hate it.

Shaman is not gonna happen, you have no idea how much I despise the totem quests.

Either Arcane Mage, Boonkin, Shaman, or another Destro lock

    Hey Doz3rr,

To fix the problem with your hunter auto attacking a mob (even after waiting to aquire / re-aquire a new target) you need to do two things.

As mentioned before, turn of "stop auto attack when switching targets" from the interface. This is enough for most classes. But with the hunter you also need to do this:

Bound to my F key on my hunter is the following macro:

    /cleartarget
    /petpassive
    /petdefensive
    /targetself <-----------------

The line with the arrow above will fix your problem. When you target yourself it fully turns off your autoattack and works like a charm to fix the issue with hunters auto attacking a new target after it is selected (the problem usually only happens when you recently finished killing another mob).

    Hope this helped.
