depends, what kind of harddisk do you got ? if you got a single one at 7200rpm or even 10.000rpm that would and your trying to fraps and play wow from it and have windows running on it, then its kinda the dead end, the fraps files are extreamly big and its a hard job for the harddisk... thats proberly the thing, it could also be the CPU

Most ppl use another disk to fraps on, even tho a single disk is still slow to fraps on, Raid0 with 2x 10.000RPM disk´s or higher is the best thing or ofcause an SSD
