About the new macro abilities: you made me curious.
The thing is we don´t use Watershield anymore we use Lightning shield which starts at 3 charges, it can load up to 9 charges and the way that is done is by useing lightning bolt and chainlightning each of those abilities has as 60% chance on succesfull hit to regen 2% of your entire mana which is actually alot. When that is said, my macro system uses Earthshock when it reaches around 8-9 charges on lightning shield which will boost the damage insanely by Earthshock, actually it crits for more than lava burst does, but when used it resets the shield to 3 charges and then u can start loading up again...

The reason i stay so high on mana is because of my chainlightning hitting multiple targets and theirby has a 60% chance to restore 2% mana pr hit... you do the math =)... but your right we can´t count on this.
