remembering window position and size

I was wondering if there is any way to have windows remember positions and sizes for 4 separate windows that all have the same name. Positioning and sizing every time I want to run wow isn't horrible, but it gets kind of annoying after the hundredth time.

That will probably depend on what software you're using to box with. I'm assuming you are using some form of software multiplexor (sending one key pressed to more then one window), rather then just opening four windows and clicking between them.

regardless of the software you want to use, you could just fire up hotkeynet, rename the windows, position them the way you want, and rename them again to the original name (if you 'd want that), and then close hkn. would take 2 clicks and you can use one of the many standard scripts that can be found on this site
