"Emmanuelle" is quite common in France indeed :-) usually shortened to "manue"

Probably due to the very popylar soft porn movies from the 70s called emanuelle. At least read that once somewhere. Dont ask me where.

The english sounding (actually it's Nordic) is "Freyja"

freyja is an awesome name
