guys i need help.

my wife will give birth soon (sometime this week normaly) and we can't seem to decide on a name.
Well, that's not exactly true, we have one name (very french sounding) and we're looking for a second name that would be more suitable for english speakers.

The name doesn't have to be an english name, it just has to be easy enough for the english speaking community :-)

any suggestions?
can you list the names of your sons/brothers/father/granpa/uncles/etc please?

When my first daughter came, I quitted WOW. Two years later, I started WOW again, but it was with multiboxing. Yay!

Her name is my dualboxing login name: Sarai E (Sarai Emmanuelle). My second one, due date is around Oct. 26, 2010, and her name will be Anneliese Elizabeth. They will be 2yrs and ten months apart.

Both of their names have root in Hebrew, but we are Chinese! haha. Emmanuelle is so Frenchy, and Anneliese is so Dutch! My colleagues from Gent, Belgium told me Anneliese is quite common in Belgium.

The english sounding (actually it's Nordic) is "Freyja"

I heard of a myth that there's articles in Playboy and Hustler mags. If this is true, might've read it there o.O? I dunno, all I ever see in those things are pixxx of hot women


Anyway, my real name is Chase Benton, I was named after a cowboy in a romance novel my mother read while she was pregnant with me. I sound it, but don't look it. I would if I'd get off my ass and worked out tho Apparently a good series, she's got the whole line of books written by Janet Dailey. My firstborn son will be a Jr. but with different spelling style of the original. Chase Benton Caulder is what mom wanted to name me, dad didn't like it. My first born will be Chase Benton Kauldyr. Chase can be a female name as well, but is usually spelled Chace. I want my daughter's name to be Krysta Elaine Marie. Krysta is a name I've favored since I was a kid, Elaine for my mom and grandma, and Marie for my aunt.

It's actually spelled as 'Annelies' here in Belgium. I'm not aware of anyone that goes by the name of annelies. In fact that name is originally french as well. Anne (we usually say just 'An') and Louise, which in flemish = annelies.

"Anneliese" could also come from "Anne-Lise" which is not unheard of, (not common, but not very rare either)

My first daughter has two names as well, one english-oriented that we use commonly, and one french-oriented that we have as a second name for administrative purposes. Since we don't know if we'll say in australia for ever, and since we're of a french background, she'll be able to easily change if she ever wants to.

The english sounding (actually it's Nordic) is "Freyja" (or Freya as it is spelled these days) and her french name is "Lydie"
She will be 2 years old on October 7th, so it's very possible that my two kids will have the same bday, or be just a few days apart.

Seems January is a good month.. >.>

Oh that French Emmanuelle movie. I love it!

Both of their names are from the Scripture. Sarai = Sarah, her name was changed by the Lord after the convenant made to Abram (Abraham). Emmanuelle was given to her because her due date was Christmas' eve, but she came a couple of days earlier. Emmanuel, God is with us! Sarai Emmanuelle, both of hebrew origin.

Anneliese, is Ann + lisa, elizabeth...all are of hebrew origin. Ann= favored by God/bounty of God. Elizabeth is the cousin of Mary, mother of John the Baptist.

If I spelled it as Annelies, and you break it, Anne Lies...not good.
