XP in Cata

Hello,

I've been messing around a bit with Cataclysm Beta. I have some questions which I'd love to have some community feedback.

Thanking you all in advance.

1 - I find leveling in the Beta to be extremely fast (about the same rate as WotlK but the quest sequence seems to be much better). And by fast is just a few hours to level 81 (4 -5h - as far as I got), considering the zone is totally unknown to me.
There are somethings to take into consideration of course:
a) You fly (310% if you purchase it, which is a must ) from the start so you travel really fast;
b) Was on double experience (rest)
c) New quest tracker/pointer feature

My question related to this are, if you have found any source about:
Is the XP given considered to be "tuned" or next to it?
Are they resetting rest status to 0 when the expansion goes live (like they usually do)?

It's really weird (not saying I don't like it though ^^) but I read some months ago that they wanted leveling to be a long way to go in Cataclysm and all evidence just seems to show the opposite.

I'm finding Mount Hyjal to be really good to box (just a few collect quests but not related to mob drops, just things on the ground) even if I only did it solo. I'm really thinking on writing a quest guide since it seems we'll have Cata only in December and now that I have put all my toons to 80 and capped most professions for them all, I don't really have the will and strength to play WoW.

My last question is regarding next live patch:
How safe is it in your opinion setting the whole thing up after patch hits and have it working in Cata (I mean macros mostly)?

Yea, I feel you level kinda fast in Catac .. but I am wondering if it is worth to level in dungeons? When wotlk hit I levelled from 70-80 in dungeons, and it worked really great. Obviously I had a dedicated tank (playing 4 shamans) who wanted to level with me all the way. I mean, you don't have to fight over mobs and quest items .. and when you lack a bit of flexibility as boxer it can be a pain.

In the next patch the new talents and abilities will go live, so you can pretty much configurate your whole setup before Cataclysm.

Blizzard said they want 80-85 will take as long as 70-80. They like you to level fast in beta so people can test things out and give feedback, not have to grind mobs with the lack of beta quests or sit in dungeon queues on an underpopulated beta server trying to get through an excruciating leveling process.

Probably just beta exp for the reason Fen said. Most likely will be reducedt to 1 level a zone so you see all the zones.
