Default This addon is gold for me

    Action Bar Saver

I came across this addon just a few days ago and felt in love with it. In conjunction with Talented this is awesome for people who like to respec.

Basically I've spent a lot of time on finding a good mix on my action bars between boxing pve, solo pve, boxing pvp, solo pvp, etc ... and depending on the team i'm playing. For example:

1 is my flame shock on my shaman, 2 my lava burst when i play him solo
1 is my avenger's shield on my tank, 2 is my holy shield when i play him solo

obviously I don't want my shammies to cast flameshock or lava burst when i pull with the tank when i box, so I either need to remove the spells on my shaman for time being, or i need to use empty keybinds on another bar and have double spells on the palladin

    with this addon i do:
/abs save ShamanSoloPve -> this saves the state of the action bar into a profile of how i play them solo
i remove the spells on the buttons that would interfere with my tank whenboxing
    /abs save ShamanBoxPve

whenever I want to switch around, to have the spell layout i want for my actionbars all it takes is
    /abs reload ShamanBoxPvP

This is so awesome for me, since I tend to use 5 specs for my paladin for example. A MT raiding spec, a tank spec with aura mastery; specially for LK fight, a protection pvp spec, a ret spec pve and a boxing spec. With talented I just save the talent as a template, and with ABS it takes a single command to restore the old state of your actionbar.

Well i just felt like sharing the tip.

Awesome thanks, i'm gonna love that

Had the same problem on my feral, resto, boomkin druid. I play him solo and boxed. This will allow for much better configuration etc.

I find quoting me as the first poster to be a pure win, lol.

I usually quote the OP as well if I'm the first poster after them. You could have edited your post to say "Here are some great movies I found on the interwebz of sexy ladies doing dirty things with farm animals." Littleburst's reply is "Awesome thanks, I'm gonna love that."

Why not just use wows built in Page system?

    Shift 1 = bar1 pve
    Shift 2 = bar2 pvp

    /boggle

Because i use bar 1,2,3 for normal spells. Then 4,5,6,7 for treeform/boomkin, cat, cat stealth, bear. and bar 10 to bind HS, other items and follow buttons etc.

    2 free bars isn't a lot.

Are you trying to use every spell in the game?

I use 1 bar for my druids with a couple of extra mapped keys. To be honest i only use probably 5 keys total
    Starfall, Rejuv, Typhoon, Treants, Rebirth

Catform has its own bar, Bear form has its own bar

Sentry totem aside, I use most spells on my shaman yes. How else are you going to do max dps in a raid or perform well in a pvp? Thats when I play solo.

I use a general layout for my 10 action bars with bartender. On each and every toon / class I have.
Bar 1= 1-0 Normal play, individual spells
Bar 2= Numpad boxing macro's, & spells, bound to G11 keyboard
Bar 3 = F1-F12, buffs, mount, food, etc
    Bar 4 = Alt 1-0 abilities i use less frequent ... bound to G13
Bar 5 = Alt Numpad, totems
Bar 6 = Ctrl Numpad my ftl macro's
Bar 7 = Ctrl 1-0 healer only (i use keybinds to heal)
Bar 8 contains macro's for click bindings
Bar 9 contains stuff like professions, spec1, spec 2, equipment sets
Bar 10 is a trash bar whenever i need to moved a spell / macro i drop it there for future use

That's for me the best way to keep stuff clear and maintain the overview. 1 standard bar / keybind layout for every toon.
