Mograine and all mobs of the instance will follow you and the first floor offers a good possibiliy of LoS breaking
Tried a number of ways and this works the best, 4 mins to do it including looting the greens and above by using the master loot and pass on loot trick. If u run to where Whiteman comes out most/no mobs even wack u when ur asleep.

Found Armory to be easiest if u just run to end, agro end boss, run the entire instance back to start running through all the mobs, kill. loot.

10-11 mins to do both instances. Each using a single pull\kill.

    repeat!

Don't need to stealth for either, just dodge or wait a few seconds at times for a pat to move

Just managed to do a full HD fraps timed run in 2 minutes 58 seconds of Cathdral.

I have done runs which I haven't fiolmed in 7 minutes 30 of both Cath and Armoury timer starts when you enter Cath and ends when you leave Armoury (meaning you have to rest also).

Its good fun. The video is 4.5GB in size so I am going to wait until I get my new 2TB drives before I start encoding it to upload to Youtube since I have ran out of space.

If I haven't uploaded in a week someone nudge me! I'm a Mage fire spec, which is tuned specially to high damage mana saving speed evasion.

I stay in SM until level 45. I don't know if it is faster to move...

    I usually do too.

ZF and Sunken Temple are options for that level range.
They're not really faster or slower then SM, but I'm already in SM.

I always stayed in SM until 45 then moved on to Scholo, as it is essentially just up the road a bit :P
(far less hassle than going to ST or ZF)

So I went to ZF yesterday, I thought I would run through on one team just to see what I can achieve.

If I play FLAT out, moving my guys at the same time as running my booster and do not get the guys kills, I can hit 300k/XP/hour, but this is the upper limit.

If you had two people, you boosting, and another person controlling your boostess, ZF would definately be faster, but because you have to always keep the guys at a safe distance and can't run on both (without some difficulty) its quicker to stay at SM where its a stable 280k/XP/hour.

In ZF, you have to be smart about where you park your people, there are certain points that you can leave them and then gather up a bunch of mobs and pull them into "range" to AOE them down.

The OP eventually mentioned boosting in his post but the title always sucks me in thinking there's a tip for us non-boosters. Does instance grinding remain viable without boosting or RAF?

You can instance grind, quest, pvp, or plain grind...

    Those are your non-boosting options.
I usually quest for the most part, but aside from mindlessly grinding on mobs, anything is a decent approach.
