Questing (Jamba) and healing
Heya. I'm trying to level a Shaman and a warrior to lvl 60 through the WoW refer a friend scheme. So I downloaded Jamba to try that out, see if it would help me some. Well it has, to a degree. My problem is quests though. As I understand it it's possible for the master to take a quest and autoshare it with the slave who then auto accepts. That'd be grand. But I can't figure out how it's done. Is it done?
Second. I looked at that Hotkey thing. I did not understand anything. I've read guides and stuff but I can't quite figure out how to do one thing. I want my shaman to drop healing on my warrior without me having to jump between windows. Is this possible somehow?
Cheers

For the jamba issues.
Make sure you team is setup in the Core Team settings page.
Then go to Quest section. You will have actions like Auto accept all quests - Auto accept quests from team members and etc. Just pick the one you want to use.
You will still have to share them from your main toon. Then your slaves will auto accept it.
Only way around this is to setup Interact with Target and have them talk to the quest giver also.

I'm doing the exact same thing; warrior/shaman.
For the quests, Jamba does do what you're talking about but I'm at work right now so I can't look to see which settings it is. There are only a few options in the quest category so just make changes and test it out.
Keyclone and the like, broadcast keys you press from your main to your slave windows. So for healing, start by making a macro on your shaman to target your warrior and cast a heal on him. Put it on a hotbar on your shaman and press the corresponding key on your warrior. That's a quick and easy way to get started.
Keyclone is easy to use and works very well. It may be a good starting place to get you playing/having fun.
Isboxer has many more features but it's harder to learn. It's definitely worth the time though. I took a night and switched over to it and I couldn't be happier.

Thanks for the replies. I'll look into Jamba more closely, I just couldn;t get it to work. But I'll take another run at it in the morning.
As for keyclone. I've heard about that, but I'm cheap. I'm already paying 15 bucks a month to play the game, then I'd pay another 20 to move the toon from my other account then another 10 for the game to get that toon up to lvl 60. It all adds up. That's what I was looking at that hotkey program thingie but couldn't figure it out.

Jamba - Getting Started
Are you using AutoHotKey or HotKeyNet? As long as you are properly broadcasting, all you need is a macro somewhere that tells your shaman to heal your warrior. A macro as simple as
/target TANKNAME
/cast HEALNAME
is all it takes. Stick it on a key, press said key when you want to heal. If you're broadcasting, then you never need to leave your main screen.

Clearly my brain wasn't functioning as intended. Of course questing works, you just have to remember to make the proper change. I don't know what I was doing but questing works fine.
As for Autohotkey or Hotkeynet. I'll use either, whichever is easiest. I've looked and both and I don't understand how to use them. I know how macros work in WoW, that's not a problem. I just don't get how to get these hotkey programs up and running properly. Maybe there's a better guide somewhere cause the ones I've looked at only confuses me further.

HotKeyNet is pretty plug and play. Download the program, copy a script, edit the script to point to the location of your WoW exe, launch HKN, load the script, use the hotkey combination to launch your games. It only starts to get complicated if you start making complicated scripts.

Right. So I write the script, load that into the program. So far so well. But eh, then what? I read the hotkeynet instructions and theyre telling me to write stuff in something called a hotkey file. Is that the script? Like in wow on my slave (healer) I'd tie my healing macro to shift+q and shift+e. So when I press the same combination on my master, I'd want that to be sent to the healer who then executes the macro. If I get it right it should look like
<hotkey shift q>
<sendpc local>
<sendwin w2>
<shift q>
Correct? And that text goes into the script under
//-----------------------------------------------------------
// DEFINE HOTKEYS FOR ALL KEY COMBINATIONS THAT WILL GET
// SENT TO BOTH WOWS. ADD MORE KEY COMBO'S IF YOU WANT.
//-----------------------------------------------------------
<Hotkey ScrollLockOn A-Z, 0-9, Plus, Minus, F1-F12 except W, A, S, D, Q, E>
<SendLabel w1, w2>
<Key %Trigger%>
Am I getting this right?

Finally got a few minutes to try that out. Clearly not it. So I'm still lost as to how to get hotkeynet to work. Sorry, I'm just not too bright when it comes to stuff like this.
