hello ^^
as i am currently playing wow multibox for a while, and i really really love it ^^ i'd like to upgrade some stuff

why?!

-> I want to play on high resolution
-> I want to fraps on high resolution
-> I don't want anymore lag ^^

This basically. Your gfx card is on the very low end of what's acceptable for non-multiboxing gaming now a days.

You also have a low-medium end cpu aswell, but it's not as critical as the gfx card itself.

How much you wanna spend on upgrades would also be a nice pointer to go by as there are very large budget varieties on theese kind of things.

For a new gfx-card I'd reccomend an ATI Radeon 5870 for the "cheap" upgrade or if you've got the money for it, an ATI Radeon 5970 (basically two 5870's built into one).

When it comes to cpu you can choose to either keep the one you've got or getting an Intel Core i7 upgrade, but keeping the one you have right now CAN (not sure if it actually will, but it might) cause problems while frapsing and dual-boxing at the same time.

The RAM itself seems good enough and 6gb is enough for most multiboxing tasks.

that's all of the information i needed ^^

however..
i was just looking at some prices..
graphic card
--> for an 5870.. its 414.99 € ( first shop I saw)
--> for an 5970.. its 682,99 € ( first shop I saw)
for only 260 € more.. and then I have top of the top, so why not go for it imo..
but my question now is..
" is it really worth it"
i mean, is there a BIG difference at the perfomance or is it some minor things..
i'm going to try first with the graphic card, and when that's not working to fraps, i'll get myself a new cpu ^^

btw, I don't know if this really matters, but i got a premade computer of HP ( pavilion )
will it be easy to assemble the new parts and instal the drivers?
