Hi,
I have problems running several copies of WoW on my machine. It seems like it works up to a point where the network traffic load gets too heavy, and the connection between my NIC and router breaks.
I have an Asus Rampage II GENE motherboard with an onboard Realtek 8111C PCI Express Gigabit LAN controller.
My router is a Speedtouch 585 (w/WLAN), connected through RJ45.
When a disconnect happens, all the lights are blinking as normal on my router. I can simply eject and insert the network cable into my PC again and the connection is restored.
I have tried several network cables, so this is not the problem.
What could cause this? A defect NIC? Wrong network settings (checksum offload etc)? A shitty router?
