amazing guide. didnt think I could 5 man ICC but I just tested it this morning before work. Didnt even bother with buffs. Just went in and nuked the first few packs. With 3 mobs tank can take quite a bit of damage but once the first is down the healing is a breeze..

thanks Shodokan for the guide. I look forward to part 2

Thanks Shodokan! Sent a link to my guilds so they can read it also.

    Quick question,
You mention that in 7 hours you can completely gear in T9 gear. This is listed under the Garfrost area and I was wondering if this was meant to be tied to the quick Garfrost runs or just pounding heroics over and over for 7 hours you'll get enough. If it was meant to be with Garfrost I"m confused as to how you are getting so many badges.

    Thanks,
    Pyrul

PS...Thanks again for all the good tips Shodokan, you rock!

It can be done either way, but i have garfrost down to <2 mins per kill on my ret/dk team. I get upwards to 35 badges per hour. Which is 245 badges in 7 hours. 210 is the amount you need for 5 piece t9, and most people only go for 4 piece which gives you enough badges to get ring/conquest neck etc. If the dungeons are 4 per hour you are only getting a max of 25 so it is still upwards to 10 badges more per hour if you don't lollygag.

Does Garfrost allow some crazy thing where you don't run into the 4-5 times per hour dungeon run lockout?

@ Arson, I believe he is just using the Dungeon finder, which allows him to reset it any amount of times.

So I know someone posted the path to get to Garfrost without aggroing mobs a while back, I cannot find that post. Can anyone link it? The least mobs I get aggro on is the dragon rider and one of the large skeletons? How do I avoid the skeletons?

great post - thank you !!

details on the garfrost method would also interest me

one question - I just sold a battered hilt for 5k (market at 7k didn't move...). with a 1-2% drop rate from resetable trash mobs in ICC 5 man heroics, would this not be a great source of income? is the market demand not high enough to sell regularly?

It would be a great source of income, however in 20 or so runs I've not seen it drop. Might have been unlucky.
