Default Logitech Wireless Gaming Mouse G700

Someone mentioned this in chat yesterday. I'm probably going to order this one. Not sure what the dimensions are, so not sure how big/small it is. I'm intrigued by the left side thumb buttons (4), which will contrast to the 12 on my Naga. There's also the option to tether it with a cable for those that don't prefer wireless.

I have a g500 (wired) and this looks to be about the same size. My hand is medium size I guess and the G500 fills my hand, very good, only downer is the thumb rest. It is textured and gets rough after a couple hours.

omg... this is exactly what I needed to replace my dieing wireless G7.
I just hate the hassle of a corded mouse.
    THANKS!

It is only slightly bigger than an average optical mouse.

For anyone considering this mouse please stop and just get it.

The mouse has a great feel, lots of settings and the button placement works nicely. 2 of the buttons are actually triggered buy pushing the mouse wheel left and right which provides great functionality. The sides of the mouse have a nice texture while the actual left and right mouse buttons are smooth. As it states you can have have this mouse wired in case the battery gets low. Also When it does get low there is an option to popup a message on your screen so you can plug it in and continue. There is also an on/off switch on the bottom.

I added this to my arsenal as soon as they were first available on newegg.com and don't regret it at all!

They didn't mention 'DarkField' for this model. I have the Performance Mouse MX that looks just like this one but with normal buttons and the 'DarkField' for use on glass. I have 2 black glass computer desks and the 'DarkField' is the only mouse that works on them without a mouse pad.

I personally like the ole mx1000 mouse. Shame it's discontinued.

Its too small. Its too heavy, It feels like im wearing a gauntlet. There are only 4 extra buttons. all the rest of the buttons on it are the stupid speed buttons. so that's probably only two extra buttons from your older mouse. if you have a mouse mat that has a built in cushion like mine it will feel weird because your supposed to hold it at a low angle. the speed buttons are crowded into the area the left mouse button resides in. so if your playing a twitch game like a RTS or FPS you might have to relearn your touch and muscle memory.
Just remember what ol' Jack Burton does when the earth quakes, and the poison arrows fall from the sky, and the pillars of Heaven shake. Yeah, Jack Burton just looks that big ol' storm right square in the eye and he says, "Give me your best shot, pal. I can take it"

I love the g700. And I have like 10 mice, it's big with lots of custom buttons.
