chain heal??
ive been using a chain heal macro set to its A > B > C > D > E
but it has a downfall that if one of them dies the chain breaks
so would it be best to have them cast chain heal on themselves?

Ofcause
Always cast chainheal on yourself, in that way you are sure to use the big heal (1st heal) of chain-heal in the best way, you dont want to overheal with the 1st heal, only the jumps, so theirfor use selfheal so only the jumps overheal
Also sinse you are asking in the pvp section i assume your useing it for pvp..
In that case you shall only use chainheal in aoe situations you need to make a lesser healing wave macro for each char, and your deticated healer..

thats a valid point, do the jumps from the chain heal show up in your combat log that you know of, be it over heal or otherwise

i like using lesser healing waves more than i do chain heals.
Chain heal 2.5 second cast
Lesser Healing wave 1.5 second cast.
During fights it seems i can top myself off faster with lessers. I use chain heal after the fights if all toons are low or i just want to heal people around me.

I actually use chain heal a lot for when the whole group is getting aoe'd but 1 or 2 are being single targetted as well. Silence/kick kinda ruins lesser healing wave imo.
