Hey i was curious on how exactly you multibox fish, is there a way to do it? or just individually click on each screen?

Yes, or how to turn a very quiet activity into an insane click fest

The only problem is no matter where you fish you invariably attract people who keep swimming in the middle of your floating corks and /w the same questions over and over

There are more than one detailed posts about this. But I rather answer than look for it.

I have 5box fished with 90% catching. So rather efficient. I used innerspace + mousebroadcasting. Just make sure your clients all have the same aspect ratio so the mousebroadcasting is precise. Start a straight walk to the water with toons on follow. Move each toon on top of the first toon (Bonus points if you dont have different height characters). Calibrate the camera by using default cam settings (page up/ page down I believe). After that finetune the rotation by quick swapping the alt views on the main view. Start with first toon, find a recognizable point, put your mouse cursor on it, swap screen, drag mouse to that point. Quick Swap a few times to check if is matching. Start again with toon one, find that point, swap to toon three. Etc. Once all views are the same, start fishing (use macro like /cast [nochanneling] fishing). Maybe a macro for lures and such).

    Hmm steps are more readable:
    1. get innerspace
    2. make sure all ratio's are the same accross toons
    3. move all toons on same spot
    4. calibrate toon 2 3 .... on toon 1 view with exact same camera settings on one solid spot (practice makes perfect)
    5. mousebroadcast on and start fishing with no channeling macro so you can keep spamming (make sure you dont accidentally change view due to unstable clicks ( I prefer to use a trackball for this kind of stuff ).

Learn to find the finesse of bobbers almost on top of each other. Even when they are on top of each other you should be able to unique click them. The better the views match, the higher the quality. Try to zoom in so you have the full screen for bobbers, and dont just use a small portion. The bigger the screen estate the finer the mousebroadcast.

I have successfully fished on five characters at the same time without click broadcasting, just manually mousing around the windows and clicking the bobbers myself, having the characters enough spread out to only have one bobber on each screen so I know where to click.
Managed to fairly often catch on all 5, but this was with simultaneous initiation of the cast on all 5. If using an addon that makes you recast from the mouseclick when you click the bobber, it should be very possible to keep catching on all 5.

Other than being able to do the fishing dailies on multiple toons at once, is there any actual benefit to multiboxing fishing?

I gave this a wee try with my paladin and 4 of my shamans. One of the shamans already had fishing at 330, but the others in that team were all at zero. I used the opportunity to level cooking as well.

It was actually far easier than I thought. As long as you make sure that all toons are standing on each other and have the same camera angle it's fine. One thing I noticed however is that if toons are of different size, that can cause some issues with some casts due to the different perspective. My team is one male belf, 3 male orcs and a female orc. The belf and female orc being slightly shorter than the male orcs occassionally missed the click. I tried to manually compensate by adjusting their screen....but on the whole, it worked out nicely.
