Oh if its not meant for signitures sorry. The way it lets you generate the 'how to link this image' link just make it feel like it was.

I guess I could find some kind of use for the image in populating a blog or something.

I do like the 'dashboard' portal idea. Where you can load and track teams and track achievements.

I'll try find another sig tool to use that lets me display all my guys.

you can use it as a sign, (i do) but to do so you can't put too many toons.
Or you can do like Mercurio, who generated a large sig with many names, and then photoshoped it to fit :-)

thanks. Note that the photoshoped version will obviously not update itself however. but if your toons are stable/static at the moment, then it's no big deal.
Come cata, you might want to pick a 5-man main team a display that one so that we all know the progress :-)

I have now added the possibility to change the achievement displayed :-)
just click the [change] link under the achievement and select from the list.

Note that the newly selected achievement will become the default for that team.
obviously if you have several teams they can all use separate default achievements.


[edit] I've now also added the whole list of achievements (currently 889), including general, quests, exploration, pvp, dungeons, professions, reputations and world events.
they will auto update when you refresh your teams.

Hi all,
I was hoping to get a bit more feedback. Has anyone else tried the Teams Portal?

Do you find it useful? Not useful?
if not, what feature would you like to see there?

i know i use my portal all the time to monitor my team and the achievements (saves me from going to 5 different armory pages). It's basically like multiboxing the armory hehe

Any comments/criticism welcome.

If I can see the ilevel gear on all my 36 guys at once that would be great for me, as would "join by guild" or something similar.

Hook me up and Ill give you a plug on my forum (13,000 members and 300 more per day, dont ask me why considering none has paid to post /well 2 have/).

36 guys would unfortunately not be possible as the generated xml (from the armory) would just take too much space.
At the moment, for a 5 man team the xml is about 1MB (with all the toon info and achievements and gear etc), which i zip to about 300k.

I might expand to 10 in the future (need to see the demand for that), in the meantime you can use it in teams of 5 :-)


just curious, out of the 130000 menbers (who don't pay and therefore see nothing i guess), how many have names like "ueoiureoi", "wwwytywtt', "cheapviagra' or "rolexwatchs" ? :-)
without a good captcha or bot detection question you'll have many unnecessary visitors (bots trying to post ad mesages)
I had a snowboard forum at some point, and we let it die out to move to something else, in the 6 months that we let it unchecked about 80,000 visitors had logged in. Not one was an actual valid visitor.
