Tank, Priest, Shaman, Warlock, Mage...what specs for best pve synergy?

3 dps, 1 healer, 1 tank. This is how the group was setup before I quit. They're not 80 yet, but I'm asking about when they hit 80.

Prot paladin
Affliction warlock
Elemental shaman
Holy priest
Frost mage

After reading the forums for a while, I'm leaning toward changing the lock to demo, priest to disc, and mage to arcane.

I want to hit 1 dps button at the same time for the lock, mage and shaman. Then they go through their own cast sequence macros. Looking for ez-mode play at the moment. Tank gets aggro, keep mashing 1 button for caster dps. Looking at repeater regions for healing.

Do those specs look good or should I change something? Thought about a resto shaman and shadow priest also. Instead of racking my brain some more, figured I'd come to the experts.

That is my group make up and I have the following specs.

Priest - Holy
Lock - Demo
Mage - Arcane
Shaman - Elemental (duh)


I like holy healing better than disc.. Lock demo gives you replenish and good dps. Arcane mage is amazing dps.

All my dps toons use 1 button and I heal with repeater regions in Isboxer.

Just browsing through the talent trees on wowhead, I assume you mean Improved Soul Leech = replenish? That would put me 37ish points into destro. Or maybe I've missed something. Thx.

My priest is disc. Holy nova spam for all your aoe healing needs, comes with absorbs.
PW:S, renew, flash heal, penance, and borrowed time + Greater heal for the tank heals.
Haven't boxed my mage seriously (shes one of my icc solo box raiders) but I would have thought fire or frost would be better. arcane is very mana hungry and adds another element you have to monitor. Fire for living bomb adding extra trash dps, or frost for replenishment.
Demo specd lock would give you a larger sp buff when geared, be better trash dps (hey, there's more trash in an instance than actual bosses). destro would give you replenishment if you go with fire or arc mage. I run my lock destro spec without conflag - macro would hang if immolate wasn't on the target.

I run a 10 man team of 2 prot pallies 2 priests (1 holy 1 disc) 2 destro warlocks 1 arcane mage 1 survival hunter and 2 ele shaman.

i have almost the same comp (druid instead of lock) and i can confirm that the priest is much better as Discipline (at least for me)
