I put about three commas per second of cooldown on an ability as a start, as that's about how fast I hit my DPS key. I then modify this by seeing how they actually perform on the target dummies. I put all the abilities that are used in the macro on my bar so I can see when they are refreshing, if my macro ever gets stuck waiting on an ability to come off cooldown, etc.

But shouldn't you have a [nochanneling] in your shadow priest's main dps castsequence?
Or oh, I guess since you don't use devouring plague you might not need that. Why don't you use it?
And for your moonkin, you should use the following line instead of the one you have commented out :
    /cast [noform] Moonkin Form
The Shadow Priest (and all my macros) contain a "/stopmacro [channeling]" at the beginning just in case I'm using a channeled spell. This won't let me interrupt any channeled spell like Mind Flay in my macro or even like Hymn of Hope, Evocation, etc. that I press outside the macro.
I'll have to investigate Devouring Plague to see if it increases Shadow DPS.
And thanks for the Moonkin Form tip, that's exactly what I was looking for - I'll update the Boomkin macro accordingly!

Not at all. You've achieved some pretty amazing stuff imo and it's helpfull for others that they can see your macro's now, so i'm sure it will help.

I'm pretty sure devouring plague will increase your dps if you can add it in the rotation.
Just checked the log of a random Spriest doing 27k dps @ 10man crimson hall. Devouring plague ticked for an average of 4,1k and SWain for 4,3k.

I'm sorry if this obvious but what does the # do before the cast sequence?

    # /castsequence boom boom
