KC´s Maximizer bugged?

i just started dualboxing and the first few times i tried it out, i had i PiP solution to manage my toons, but i grew tired of that PiP box that is always in the way, so i bought a used 16" screen for basically nothing, its 1280x1024 but who cares, its only going to show my slave on follow...

so i set it up in Keyclones Maximizer, display1 is 1680x1050 and fullscreen and display2 is 1280x1024 fullscreen.

what happens is that display1 starts fullscreen but at a 768x512 (or something like that) resolution, and on the same screen, behind "wow1" is "wow2" in 1280x1024 resolution... i tried to move the window to the second screen and set the proper resolutions and what happens? KC stops broadcasting my keyboard!

i tried it a number of times, resetting my settings and following the guides on KC official webpage but i still couldnt get it to work.

i then settled for a PiP solution just to play some...

is it maximizer bugged?

after my playsession it occurred to me that i should have tried to turn off maximizer and set the up the windows myself, is that a better way to manage them if i dont want several smaller windows on a single monitor ?


edit: my computer is an i7 930 running stock clocks, 6gb ddr3 RAM, dual GeForce 460gtx in SLI (with the latest drivers) on Windows 7 64 bit edition, in case this information helps.

update:

tried to disable the maximizer last night and resize the windows as i saw fit manually, and everything worked like a charm until i checked the "maximize" box in the game, just below the "windowed mode" box.

when i check this box i can hear the "ding dong" sound that keyclone have lost connection to the game =/

i can play without the KC Maximizer and in windowed modes, but if i want to strech the game window to cover the entire screen (like we all do, right?) then KC drops the connection...

really annoying, any suggestions ?

Why would you let the game maximize the game, when any of the multiboxing apps (including keyclone) do that for you already? Seems redundant to me.

because my post it about that feature in keyclone being bugged and im simply trying to work around it.

solved!

had to delete the .ini file and let KC create a new one....

i guess KC didnt like being installed on a computer with 1 monitor and then get the second monitor added after KC was istalled...
