    Default Mouseover questions

I have mouseover macros working quite nicely to heal my party while controlling my warrior. I use Pitbull to get the party frames on my two windows to match each other.

I have my priest's macros set up so that if she has a mouseover target then she will cast on the mousover, but if she does not have a mouseover then she will cast on my warrior. The problem with this is that often times there will be people in random parts of the priest's screen, so she'll end up having a mouseover target when I don't want her to.

Is there a way to make it so that the cursor location is transmitted to the priest only when the cursor is a certain region of the screen?

    --OR--

Is there a way to make it so that the cursor location does not get transmitted if I'm holding down the right mouse button on the warrior's screen?

I know a ghetto way to fix this would be to zoom the priest's camera all the way in and have her stare at the ground, but I like being able to see what's going on around her.

You can create a Repeater Region, which is an area of the screen which when the mouse is in that area it broadcasts to the chosen target(s). I'd probably go with a Repeater Region, as this excels for healing.

You could make a mapped key, two steps, set it to advance on press or release. So pressing will turn it on, and releasing will turn it off. Then have Step 1 disable the mapped key which does the mouseover healing and step two enable the mapped key. So while the right button is held, the mapped key cannot fire off.

Well, the way I have my current mouseover macro set up in ISBoxer is for it to turn repeater on and off in step 1 and then in step 2 push the key in the healer's window. Then I have it set to execute a step on both push and release, so it does both these steps each time I push the button.

I'm not really familiar with repeater regions. I just got ISBoxer two nights ago. I can poke around a bit with that tonight. Would I be able to make a repeater region that applies to my aforementioned method, as kind of a mask?

Ah, okay. I made a repeater region and deleted step 1 in all my healing macros. This is a bit better, but it still leaves my healer's cursor somewhere right next to the party window after I move my cursor out of the region. That means that someone who happens to be standing in that area will get my heals instead. Worse yet, the cursor seems to have some momentum upon leaving the window, so the faster it's moving, the further from the party window it comes to a stop.

Is there a way I can get the healer's cursor to park in a safe spot (on top of the minimap or something) when my cursor is not in the repeater region?

ISBoxer is not allowed to move the cursor anywhere/anyhow other than where/how you move it. If your cursor being left somewhere on that window is causing your healer to heal the wrong people, then I would probably split the macro up or have ISBoxer replace it while multiboxing.. Otherwise, set up a Mapped Key with a Sync Cursor Action, and you can hit that key with your mouse anywhere you like to force the cursor to move to that position in the other window.
