chasing a one button cast sequence macro

hi guys, finally got keyclone working again after a long break and im chasing a 1 button cast sequence macro for my shammies for the basic abilities.

what i would really like is one that does

water shield
flametongue weapon

i already have my call of elements bound to a key and the majority of my spells are sorted but i think i will have to be a much better macro manager to do this

would that be the only 1 click self buffing i would need for ele shamans?

I don't think I understand the question. Does this not work:

/castsequence reset=170 Water Shield, Flametongue Weapon

It kinda depends on how often you are getting hit as to how soon the shield goes away. If it is going away earlier, then you can put in a shorter time. The weapon enchant is a 30 min buff, so would only have to push the button 2 times every 30 mins.

Elemental shamans are getting a change in cata regarding sheilds.....

Elemental Changes
In the next beta build (or the one after that), you will see two important changes to Elemental shaman. First, you will use Lightning Shield (for damage!) instead of Water Shield. Second, you will want to use Earthquake for AE over Fire Nova. These changes, especially the former, will provide Elemental shaman with a bit of an upgrade in the rotation over what you're used to in LK.

I don't want to oversell it, because players have a tendency to imagine herds of glittering ponies when left to their own imaginations, but it should be a fun change.

HEY! I resemble that

I'd do something like:

/castsequence reset=5 Water Shield,Null
/castsequence reset=30 ,,,Flametongue Weapon,Null

That way, you can push the key once for an easy refresh of Water Shield whenever you need one. And if you spam/press it several times, you get the weapon buff too.
