im just wondering what the best way to set heaing is:
i have F1 set to Lesser Healing Wave themselves, and F2 to Chain heal.
im wondering with Chain heal is it best to target themselves or a targeting system like A > B > C > D > E

Have both LHW and CH in a A -> B -> C -> D and for both an /assist main /cast heal.
Healing themselfs is less effective imo, because if i char is taking damage, then his heal will get interrupted from the attacks and there's a good chance he is also silenced/stunned etc.
I don't use a heal themself macro at all.
I use ISBoxer, and have VuhDu setup. I setup the repeater regions over the VuDuh healing bars, so basically when I click heal on my main guy, it'll do the same on my alts. I really like it. It saves my ass ALL the time.
So left click is lesser healing wave, right is chain heal etc...
It's also nice because it works in BGs, I can heal anyone....

I have VuhDu setup on each character, all in the exact same spot on the screen. The groups are alphabetical order, and not grouped, so everyone is in the same position on all screens.
So it works exactly the same no matter what guy I'm on.

Yeah, you'll overheal for sure, but at least one or two of my guys gets stunned in arena or in a BG - or interrupted, so works out well - usually one heal lands and saves me. Sometimes they will all heal, but overhealing has been a lot better to me than underhealing!
