Haste or Crit weapon for quad boxing 1800 ele shamans?

I'm playing with about 0 haste and i am also considering to try get a decent Hasteset together. Problem is though, that you're somewhat in the need of pve gear to get it proper good.

My advice would probably start with crit if you have no haste at all.

If you do go for a haste build you need to make sure that your haste levels are very close to the same on all chars. I wouldn't recommend using the ilvl 264 totem, because most teams spam cleanse flame shocks and you will get your haste values out of sync very quickly.

The flip side to getting flame shock cleansed is an extra 30% haste straight off the bat through lava flows. This should quickly cap you out at GCD if you are stacking haste I suppose, esp. with hero + totem active.

sounds like you'd have to make a ton of sacrifices in spell power and resilience to get any decent amount of haste. Without going into PVE gear you can maybe get 400-500 with 3 gems.. whats that like 9% haste? worth it?
