    Default Random target macro

    Dear Boxers,

Last week i transfered to GB EU to join Gimp having alot of fun. Did my best on leveling and reached 72 by now. I'm feeling that the more I heal/play defensive in BGs the better it goes. Because im still a squishy target and fairly easy to kill for lvl 79'ers. Now im looking for a macro or something to target a random target with each toon and start casting chain heals all around me or would it be wiser to heal my mains target? Eitherway is there a way to target randoms? i use grid tm and im doing fine but still i would like to try it out sometime.

Thanks for any help in advance,

    Greetings,

    Xevra

i don't think there is any function to target a random friend
maybe create a macro similar to
    Code:
    /targetfriend yourmain
    /targetfriend a
    /targetfriend b
    /targetfriend c
    /targetfriend d
    ...
    /targetfriend z
    /cast Chain Heal
it won't be random per say, but depending on the people around you you'll target them alphabetically and it could turn out to look a bit random :-)
(and it will fall back on your main if none other are around)

to save some macro space you can probably use
    Code:
    /tar yourmain
    /tar [help] a
    /tar [help] b
    ...
    /tar [help] z
    /cast Chain Heal
then again, there are plenty of tools to create longer macros.

Is Grid set for a fixed number? I use VuhDo and it will expand to 40 if you need it. Any way a healing add-on is better than tabbing
RAF Tour Guide files are obsolete, I went to Zygor
    MultiBoxers play with themselves

always used grid when healing. never exualy heard of VuhDo, is it better than grid? i dont know if grid is set for a fixed number. i am just for a better way to heal. il check on VuhDo but my problem is i dont want to use alot of addons and when i do use addons i prefer to use it on my main only. This however makes it anoying to play one of my clones. if every UI on each toon would be the same then i would not have a main anymore since i can switch all the time and it would not realy matter.

im sorry for my english. dutchmen here.

there is a Grid plugin called Grid autoframeresize that will automatically resize the number of grid cells depending on your group (party/raid/bg etc)

Default Ctrl + tab will target the nearest friend and you can cycle through them.
You can also bind target nearest friendly PLAYER. might be more usefull.
