    Hi Neverheal!

I have almost the same setup as you, but with a slightly slower processor. I have the HD 3870 and am running 4 wows on one monitor. I think you may have some issues with the X1650 as the memory interface is only 128-bit wide and the clocks are slower. The X1950 was considered the highend of that family of cards. The next family was the HD 2400/2600/2900 and then now they have the HD 3850/3870 (soon the 3870 X2).

If using ATI/AMD cards, I think you should have at least a HD 2900 or 3800 series. I dont' have data to back this up, but I can try to get a hold of a 2600XT and 2900XT test them in my current system and see what the performance is like.

First off. Welcome to the forums and Dualboxing

You know.. We get this question alot, and the BEST thing you can do it make 4 trial accounts log into them and see if your computer does not WTF DIE!
You can use 1 monitor. I use 1 I leave wow windows behind one another.

Again your computer specs look descent but again you just got to try for your self.

If you were going to upgrade, then you could probably do with some PC6400 RAM.

Also an 8800GT would probably be better.

Running your main on one monitor and your other characters on a second monitor seems to be the way most people do it.

    Viable for most setups.
