    Hi!

    I'm using Mac and multibox 3x arcane mages, resto shaman as healer and druid as tank.

    For multiboxing the software for mac is quite lacking when compared to Windows. Either stuff is very out-dated or simply doesn't exists.

    My solution so far is following:

    * iMac (earlier model, 8Gb RAM, ATI 4870 video-card, i7) *

    CPU is not bottleneck. Heck - it could probably run 5 more wow's. GPU is more limited. My main toon has FPS set to 30 and slaves to 10 FPS. Note that this causes issues with addon's communication (ie. Jamba quest watcher - must be turned off so I don't get massive lag in accepting quests, follow broken, etc). Also framerate doesn't stay at 30 when there is lot of action or complex terrain/textures to render.

    GPU temperature rises to about 80c when outside room temperature is hovering somewhere around 25c (it's too damn hot summer here in Finland)

    I would guess that the new, just released iMac will easily run 5x wow's - and framerate's probably are much better than on my current machine. SSD is fantastic option also.

    Belking nostromo n52te & Razer naga

    For movement and control. Note that Belkin's drivers are beta-quality and cause hard-crashes. This is almost un-avoidable. You could try tweaking with controller-mate. I do have controller-mate but haven't tried it. Your mileage may vary.

    n52te handles tank (druid) movement, spells (if something needs to be done without macros) and healing of slaves.

    Naga handles DPS/tank rotation, slave movement,"oh sh**", buffs, follow, tank-healing

    * Plexer *

    Used for keyboard broadcasting. Simple stuff.

    * Jamba *

    The best multiboxing add-on there is. Jafula is my personal hero. All hail Jafula! Again - cannot really say how awesome this add-on is. Hopefully Jafula is reading this.

    * Tukui *

    My main-toon (druid) UI. I like minimalistic aproach.

    * Pile of macros for healing & DPS *

    I have pile of macros for buffing, healing and tanking. Simple stuff. Mostly copied and modified to fit my personal preferences.

    !!! Known problems !!!

    There are some problems with multiboxing with mac.

    Launch management. I have applescript that launches wow-instances and before launching writes wow's preference-file and modifies apple-display scale factor to reduce window-size. It is from these forums - only modified slightly to fit my needs.

    Mouse-broadcast. There is no valid, easy to use option. I've tried setting camera-angle, etc. but broadcasting mouse-click is problematic. I've tried applescript etc but without much success. So targetting AoE (in my case blizzard and flamestrike) is not possible.
    If someone has nice, working solution - please let me know.

    Software isn't as polished as on windows-side. The basics are there - but you definately need more manual work than on windows side. De-cursing, repeater regions, click-through-healing...

    So it is absolutely doable - and it is great fun.

    Hopefully this helps
