Yea owl i feel your pain bro, they removed the whole smite counterpoint now. I think shadow will probably be the way to go now given the changes they JUST made. Makes me sad, cuz i got excited to do this whole 5 priest thing

Shadow priests damage is so high dude... seriously.

Yeah, I may go with shadow priests - I can still holy nova for quick heals and swarms, but their survivability with dispersion and passive healing may be too good to pass up. I'm hoping I don't have to, as I'd rather make a non-traditional DPS class work for PvP, but with the amount of nerfs they're making to smite priests they're not leaving us with much choice.

Cata priests now look absolutely nothing like Cata priests did a month ago - oh well. There could still be large changes coming, but smite priests don't seem to be a goal for the developers (understandable, but personally disappointing).
