60-70 (Outlands) has been nerfed a lot from tBC, Running a group (2 or more) you fly through and barely finish half the zones before you can go to Northrend. Then I quest / LFD to 80. a booster always helps but not required.
RAF Tour Guide files are obsolete, I went to Zygor

Yeah but still ... 4 hours for 60 to 70 ... my prot palladin is very well geared (50k hp unbuffed), and I can pull hellfire ramparts the way I want. But still i need several pulls per level. 4 hours seems to be impossible to me. Even with doing all easy kill quests in nagrand, etc ...

I agree - 4 hours is impossible, even for 60-68.

Shamans can tank/heal/DPS in heroics, but only once you seriously outgear the instance. It's suggested you have a tank. If you are to purely focus on PvP and don't want to touch PvE, then play 5 shamans all you want.
I used to think that 5 shammys had to outgear everything, however, I've leveled a new set of shammys on alliance side. I did my first full clear of drak'tharon with a GS of 2800. I'm up to 3200 now, and just finished UT Keep. This was surprisingly easier than I remember on my original team where I did have to outgear everything. I first attempted Azol'Nerub with around 2600 GS and couldn't down the second boss. I was surprised I even got the first one down. I haven't attempting anything else yet as I've been on very limited playing time, but it's definitely been fun so far.

The big disadvantage of running 5 shammys is that you can't use the dungeon finder tool.

I would say that depends on BG group you are in. Find a good BG weekend and set up a premade, do some coordination and you can steamroll through it rather quickly. I leveled my new shammys from 73-80 in one afternoon during EOTS weekend. Got into a premade and we 4 capped almost every one of them. My /played time from 78-79 was 1hr 3 minutes and that's with our group screwing around between queues. 79-80 was a little less organized, but was still done in about an hour and a half. The disadvantage was that I had a fresh 80 team sitting around a 1600 GS.

I'm pretty sure he mentioned PvE, but maybe it's possible with a perfect PvP scenario.

True a good BG weekend can explode your xp gathering. My BG (reckoning EU) has a clear horde advantage win ratio at 80. However the 71-79 bracket is a drama for AV. I remember back in nov/dec 2009 i had a 1/10 win ratio. And 2 weeks ago during AV it was even less. Still managed to do 70-73 in a matter of 2 playing sessions. If that were all wins i'd be 75-76.

I forgot the pvp way when i made my earlier 'looks like impossible' statement.
