Whisper window

Does anyone know of a built-in WoW option, or an addon, that removes the whisper window? I hate having my whispers come in their own self contained window as they don't see to show up in my main window anymore.

The default chat offers the options to select different types of chat for each tab (the defaults are General and combat log). Just right click on the general tab, go to settings (under filters) and reselect whispers. You can also make a new tab for whichever chat channels you wish to see. If you're using the default chat and whispers are in their own window, you can remove that by right clicking and selecting close window.

I do have whispers selected on my general tab (along with everything else), but they still seem to get lost in the whisper window. Perhaps I'm crazy, but it seems like the first whisper goes through great, but every whisper after that gets forwarded to the whisper window and I no longer see it in my general tab.

I can close each whisper chat, but I'd rather not have to do that every time someone whispers me. Is there a way to disable it?

Think you can change the behavior in the social interface settings somewhere.
