I can't decide if you guys are pulling my leg, conflating terminology nuances or just retarded, though considering you're both usually reasonable posters, I'll assume it's a terminology issue. Let's define what's being discussed here.
- People are saying /click macros are broken.
- After further discussion, people aren't talking about /click macros at all, but comma-based fall-through macros that are broken.
- Further investigation shows Blizzard has apparently disabled all addon functionality in macros (i.e.: the /click command specifically, in addition to other advanced macros possibly including comma-based fall-through macros) temporarily for feedback reasons. TL;DR = DON'T PANIC (note the large, friendly letters).
- /click macros are no different than any other macro, you're just clicking another button with it.
- /click macros ARE NOT comma-based fall-through macros, though they utilize comma-based fall-through macros to allow stacking multiple macros.
- The ONLY two advantages to a "/click macro" versus having all the commands in one macro are that A) you can call separate macros with a short command which alleviates the 255-char limit in macros without having to resort to mods, and B) you can drag a macro off a click-macro-targeted button to easily rearrange/modify your click macros on-the-fly without editing any text.
Now that we're more precise about /click macros versus comma-based fall-through macros, what problem did you have with people saying:
? Is there something incorrect in that statement?
Lest you think I'm picking nits here, consider the noobs who will search and find this thread and think that they will forever be OMGFAILBOATNOOBLOL if they don't have ISBoxer and /click macros.
