Exclamation Anyone else 5 boxing without RAF or boosting?

I hit level 10 yesterday but man is it killing me. I am really tempted to start 5 new accounts with RAF. I'm horde so I'm trying to hang on until I can start running RFC for leveling. If I can just get to 17 I should be okay.

I was just wondering if anyone else is doing the same thing? I've always used RAF for 5boxing new teams. The only time I"ve never used RAF was for my 4 hunters, but I don't remember it being this brutal.

Random question: Can you transfer a level 60 from a vanilla account to a WOTLK account?

I think there are places in Europe where RAF is against the law (considered a pyramid scheme or something) - maybe Netherlands? You're not alone, others have and are leveld without RAF. I tried to, but eventually gave in and created 4 new accounts to boost 4 existing accounts (didn't transfer toons as that would get costly, so basically had to double the leveling time).

This is why I now plead with new multiboxers to utilize their RAF as much as they could handle. I originally thought I'd just want to play 5 druids... big mistake. Now I have about 6 full teams at 60+, and I hope I never want to multibox rogues, warriors, or hunters...

You can transfer a toon from Vanilla to WotLK, but I don't believe you can transfer from WotLK to Vanilla.

You will. I never wanted to multibox an all melee team, but started raf for a second time just to make a group. I'm just tired of all the accounts I have because of RAF. I think I have 15 or so....

Hmm so if I do break, and decide to do RAF, once they hit 60 I can just do an account transfer to my WOTLK accounts? Hmmmm.....

Yeah, but that could get expensive. My latest RAF round I did 4 teams to 60, twice (locks, mages, shamans, and priests). I'm finding that I don't really enjoy any class that can't heal, so I'm hoping I never want warriors/rogue/hunters (already have pallys and druids 60+, don't count DKs since that would be easy).

I really doesn't take that long. Just get 4 vanilla accounts, boost two old + two new, then boost the other two old + two new, and you'll have all the teams you want at 60 well before the expansion.

I had to level my teams old school and it took forever. I watched guild members fly away from me too with RAF.

I got to level 17 before I I spent the $15x2 to RAF 4 characters. Well worth it.

I've leveled all my teams without RaF.

While RaF would have been nice, my first team (5 shamans) had just hit 60 when RaF was released (the xp bonus system from it anyway) and I didn't want to make any more accounts.
So while it may be slower, it's still quite enjoyable imo, and if you don't mind breaking up your teams slightly and have a high level somewhere, boosting them up 4 at a time is pretty effective even without RaF.

I am currently leveling my second team. I put the heirlooms on them and figured that would be fast enough. If I could do it all over again there is no question I would shell out for RAF. I am lvl 52 and cringing at the number of runs left.

Indeed, though since RaF only helps until 60 anyway, it's really a pretty small part of the whole leveling.

Yes you can, but it is a very costly way of doing things.
