    anyone know a way to fix this? the vga shouldnt be an issue i had the 1920x1080 res using the adapter with a nvidia 9800GT

    atm im thinking of just going back to using it

    the cable will make all the difference, as using a DVI-D (full set of pins) or HDMI cable will give you a digital signal, whereas a VGA cable will give you an analogue one.

    yes ive tried windows updates, ive contacted the company that made my monitor and got them to send an installation cd to me, will post here when ive tried it and yes dvi cable didnt help
