I've done this 5x several times, I did it with 5x pally and I did it with pally+4shaman with no problems what so ever.

I'm now trying to do it with my druid-bear , 3xWarlock, priest and I can't do it.
the bear gets silenced at the second swarm and can't taunt the add. the silence last just long enough for it to kill 3 of my alts and usually the healer. I guess I could stone 3 of them but it's really cheesing me that the bear is silence while the pally didn't seem to be.

I've done this with the bear tank and I don't remember being silenced before.

The silence prevents you from taunting & slows down your movement speed. What I did was moving my dps to one side of the room while running with my tank to the other side. Lot depends on your dps numbers though.

I get the silence on my pally tank btw.

One method would be to stop DPSing / Healing through the silence and use your Barkskin / Surv Inst. / Frenzied regn through it.

Stand farther back with your dps and spam swipe target and hit the add, its not that hard to do and a quick feral charge mangle lacerate maul swipe should glue that fucker on you tighter than a prom night virgin

You just gotta be quick about picking up the add at the correct time, ie make sure you stop or slow dps right as it spawns and pick it up good luck!

Indeed, my pally tank would get silenced here as well, and to handle the add I would either have to stop dps and healing until the tank could pick it up through sheer luck of hitting it as it runs through me, or simply healing the alts through it until the tank is able to taunt it.
Usually the second case is what happens, but it works fine for me.
