    There are soooooooooooo many threads on RAF and how to refer the accounts. it seem's like there is a new one every week. and i apologize if i come off as an ass or something, but maybe some1 should make a guide with the pro's and cons of each method and make it a sticky or something. might cut down on some of the multiple RAF? posts.

    I hear you, and I did happen to make a video on this but it didn't make the sticky cut. There are things that were missed in the video but I didn't want to end up making a super long video trying to cover every single possibility. I'd link my original thread but it's been buried and I'm too lazy to go find it.

    Great vid Fenril. With a bit more digging I think I got it figured out what I will do.

    1. Have 6 separate Battle.net accounts (thanks Fen, I don't want to wait to log in)
    2. Link accounts like so:

    /----->--C----->--F
    Account A|------->B
    (existing with boosters) \----->--D----->--E

    Then I will boost accounts C, D, E, and F with my hunter, and since my hunter isn't directly linked to any of those accounts I will still get the 3X exp boost... I think.

    3. Get to 60 on the 4 characters quickly and boost the 5th
    4. Profit

    Thanks.

    Using:

    Code:
              /----->--C----->--F
    Account A|------->B
              \----->--D----->--E
    I am confused as to B's role in all of this.

    great vid Fen. I firmly vote sticky.

    Got a question which may be one of those "d'oh" moments when I hear the answer, here goes:

    - Let's assume lvl 80 boosts 4 x lvl30's through an instance.
    - Then assume a 2nd group where a lvl80 is boosting 3 x lvl 30's through same instance.

    Will the gross or net xp awarded be greater on the 4 man group or the same as the 3 man group? I'm assuming here that RAF multiplies gross xp x 3.

    My thinking is, does WoW take an average of the levels in the group to determine the amount of XP? In which case it makes sense to boost 4 instead of 2 or 3 as it will be quicker. Is this right?

    Opps, I was in a hurry and forgot to preview it, also I'm apparently retarded at making charts (the spaces magically disappear)

    This is what I meant:
    Account A (existing), links to account B, C and D are linked to B, E is linked to D, and F is linked to C

    So in other words...

    A will be boosting CDEF and when you've got your teams at 60 you're going to use C/D's grantable levels to give to B so it can be on par with CDEF level-wise?

    This is what I meant:
    Account A (existing), links to account B, C and D are linked to B, E is linked to D, and F is linked to C

    so i guess the correct chart is
    Code:
                       /----->--C----->--F
    Account A|------->B
                       \----->--D----->--E
    I'm still confused as why there is a B, and not C and D linked to A directly (and therefore pay for 5 accounts only instead of 6)
    I assume it's to make sure that C and D still get triple xp even though they are in the same group as a linked high level (booster on A), but wouldn't they get that from being grouped with E and F anyway?

    And in the end, when C and D have a 60 you can grant a toon to 60 on account A, where you already have a 76 and 70.
    And if you level quickly a toon on A to 30, then you can grant him to 60 with the remaining grantable levels (E->D (30) => D->A (15) + F->C(30) => C->A (15) ) for a total of 30 levels

    Not sure, but that's my understanding anyway.

    Last time I checked, even if you are grouped with a linked account of the same level, you don't get triple xp if you are also grouped with a linked account with a high level booster.

    I.e. if you link a>b>c>d>e>f and use a to boost, b won't get triple xp because of being linked to the high level a.

    Maybe they changed it I dunno.
