    Default The Final Countdown OOOHHH!

    Everything else I will need to start my boxing career is in the mail, on its way to my house as we speak.

    I just have a couple more thoughts/questions:

    I have read a ton about how to set up the RAF between multiple accounts, but I haven't found a recent thread about boosting, is boosting still possible, or did they nerf it?

    If it is still possible how should I set up my accounts? Right now I have an existing account with a lvl 76 hunter and a lvl 70 shaman, I was hoping to be able to boost at least to 60. But, should I link my existing account to the 5 new ones and set it up like so:

    Account A (existing) ---> B --> C --> D --> E --> F

    Or should I leave the existing account out of the loop?
    (also note that I was planning on boosting just the 4 chars up on accounts C, D, E, and F. Then gifting levels to get the 5th level 60 on account B)

    On RAF i'm not an expert. general rule is idd A -> b b -> c

    Then you can grant the same amount of levels on each account.

    Boosting is awesome with RAF. It's amazing how fast it goes

    especially if you join through LFG and relog on 1 account to the booster and then boost. If you do it correct they get exp as if there wasn't a booster(highlvl) in the group.

    My method is:

    Exiting account - a - b - c - d

    You did 4 characters 1-30
    You did 2 characters 30-60

    You got 5 characters level 60.

    120 low levels
    60 high levels

    gets you:

    300 high levels

    There are soooooooooooo many threads on RAF and how to refer the accounts. it seem's like there is a new one every week. and i apologize if i come off as an ass or something, but maybe some1 should make a guide with the pro's and cons of each method and make it a sticky or something. might cut down on some of the multiple RAF? posts.

    I hear you, and I did happen to make a video on this but it didn't make the sticky cut. There are things that were missed in the video but I didn't want to end up making a super long video trying to cover every single possibility. I'd link my original thread but it's been buried and I'm too lazy to go find it.

    Great vid Fenril. With a bit more digging I think I got it figured out what I will do.

    1. Have 6 separate Battle.net accounts (thanks Fen, I don't want to wait to log in)
    2. Link accounts like so:

    /----->--C----->--F
    Account A|------->B
    (existing with boosters) \----->--D----->--E

    Then I will boost accounts C, D, E, and F with my hunter, and since my hunter isn't directly linked to any of those accounts I will still get the 3X exp boost... I think.

    3. Get to 60 on the 4 characters quickly and boost the 5th
    4. Profit

    Thanks.

    Using:

    Code:
              /----->--C----->--F
    Account A|------->B
              \----->--D----->--E
    I am confused as to B's role in all of this.

    great vid Fen. I firmly vote sticky.

    Got a question which may be one of those "d'oh" moments when I hear the answer, here goes:

    - Let's assume lvl 80 boosts 4 x lvl30's through an instance.
    - Then assume a 2nd group where a lvl80 is boosting 3 x lvl 30's through same instance.

    Will the gross or net xp awarded be greater on the 4 man group or the same as the 3 man group? I'm assuming here that RAF multiplies gross xp x 3.

    My thinking is, does WoW take an average of the levels in the group to determine the amount of XP? In which case it makes sense to boost 4 instead of 2 or 3 as it will be quicker. Is this right?

    Opps, I was in a hurry and forgot to preview it, also I'm apparently retarded at making charts (the spaces magically disappear)

    This is what I meant:
    Account A (existing), links to account B, C and D are linked to B, E is linked to D, and F is linked to C
