Damn, forgot about not having TRIM when in raid. Guess I might have to stick with just one fast SSD instead.

Yes, my mobo does support the cpu straight outta the box. And planning on getting an evga geforce gtx 480, and probably a second one for SLI when I have the extra money and if I will really need it.

Sorry to hijack the thread but was looking for some advice to a loosely related topic. I've got a 500gbhd as my os drive currently which I'm upgrading to a ssd very shortly and I have 2 400gb harddrives which I plan to run in a raid 0 config. I've downloaded the drivers and a guide but it only explains the method of installing the raid drivers during win7 installation which since I've already installed windows 7 doesn't help me. Asking for anyones help as I'm not exceptionally tech savi so if this is a real noob question please don't flame me
    Cheers

Did you build your rig? I would check your mobo user guide/manual and it will give details on how to set it up in BIOS. If not, you may have to do some digging online to find out how. When I bought my new Asus mobo, it came with step by step instructions for creating each kind of RAID setup. Best of luck!
