Just wondering how the Razor Naga has been performing?

I am looking for a mouse to replace my MX 1000(which I love...but is starting to fall apart) on my home computer. I also have a MX Revolution at work. I really like both, but both is out of production and Logitech's current equivalint does not have as many buttons. Never had a MS mouse, and not sure if I want to go that route, but now Im thinking about the Naga.

So, is the Naga worth it? The pictures of the Naga make it look long. Is it that long? Or is that just a distortion of the picture? I just want my 5 year old to be able to move the mouse like she does on my MX1000.

Aso, how hard is it to get used to the majority of the buttons being used by your thumb......instead of spread out kind of evenly(but not as many buttons) between the thumb and fingers like Logitech's mice?
