I disagree - in 3.0.8 you can turn in relics of ulduar for rep and they will no longer be BoP - just wait a couple weeks for the price to go down and then use the money from the dailies that aren't stress inducing to buy all your characters to exalted. Sons of Hodir quests are the worst ones in the game for multiboxers - I will never do them.

/agree -- I can't even bring myself to do these on my mage (my non-boxing raiding toon that really should get to exalted for the better shoulder enchant, and human to boot for that extra 10%). I freaking hate collection quests now, and the horn quest is always camped. I've done the Icecrown dailies a few times but far from religiously.

Icecrown does have some boxing-friendly dailies, but the phasing craziness in the zone makes it annoying to navigate in. I stick to the shadow vault and that island off in the SW, only 4 dailies total but they're very quick. 260g in under 15 mins more than pays for my raiding habit.

I can actually do all ice crown dailies without passing through an area that causes follow to break - guess I've just kind of learned which ways to fly. Carbonite addon helps to tell you exactly where each spot is you need to go for the quests, so now I can do around 17 dailies in 1 1/2 hours without losing follow.

Yeah I absolutely detest the phasing in Icecrown and only do dailies in there once a week. Too much flying around and waiting for toons to catch up.

If you fly to Neff point from Dalaran you can get the giants and wolf quest done in 15-20 mins (no collection, just killing) and do the spear-a-dragon solo on 1-2 guys as well. I dunno about your server but I am pretty sure Relic of Ulduars are gonna be crazy expensive next patch for a long time, since everyone will just want to buy their way to exalted for alts. 10 relics = 250 rep I think, so you'd need 1320 to go from honored to exalted, I'm guessing it'll cost 3-5k gold to buy that many for a few weeks/months.

Whats really great is if you are in Naxx on your main/etc, I park a second toon in the Sons zone and fly around everfrost hunting while there is Naxx downtime. With a mod like mapster it tracks where you have looted shards, and I have picked up 10+ in a single night this way. Easy 3-4k rep a day.

I can at least tell you that Suvega is not farming dailies at this point in time... For one, he was able to purchase two mammoths already and doesn't really have any additional goldsink items in mind... And two, he's found himself a nice little niche playing the auction house market.

I'd imagine he'd probably start trying to figure out an efficient path for dailies once it's more worth the time to do so... I haven't done many dailies and I'm still working through the money I earned just from leveling. Wrath doesn't seem to be too expensive at this point.

Guess it depends on your preferred method of getting gear as well as other expensive things you might want! I've already spent (estimated) 30,000g (not including epic mounts - that would bump it to 51,000g at 80) between leveling 2 JCers and buying epic items galore at 80 because I'd rather start half epiced out then get all my gear by running instances

I still want to get a mechano hog, going to need to buy 5 red drakes (10k gold), have about 10k more crafted items to buy, and maybe get a mammoth or two, plus maybe 5x band of the kirin tor, if nothing else as an extra hearth. That should cover me for needing money for quite awhile! For me, it looks like wrath has about 10x as much money to sink as BC ever did.

Anywho, since it's getting nerfed in like the next patch, I figure I'd tell ya what I've been doing:

Disenchanting. It makes more money, quicker then any other thing right now, and considering the lesser complexity, and that I can do it whilst raiding, it is what I've been spending my time with. (yes this has been discussed I think breifly on this site already).
I'm not going to spoon feed you guys, but in quick summary check out the following:

Some hints for people just starting the gouging market:
Have an alt on the Ah constantly scanning new itesm (auctioneer cna do this). When someone posts alot of mats that you will consistently need, you should msg them. Offer them in the future like 5g less then market value currently (I buy cobalt at 35g a stack on my server from 3 suppliers). Indicate that it shoudl be about even if they CoD you as AH takes a 5% cut anyways (Lie and say 10% if needed ).
Currently I get 2 full mails of cobalt bars per day, at 420g a mail. (24stacks)

For posting:
Single stacks of greater cosmics, 1 copper markdown 10-15 Max.
full stacks of dust, 1copper markdown. 4 stacks max.
SAVE YOUR SHARDS, DO NOT SELL NOW - After 3.0.8 these will skyrocket in price.


Keep your alt at the AH, and when you spot someone undercutting you, /who them. Wait till they leave the AH, then immedietly take down your auctions, and undercut him by a copper again.

By keeping low stacks (relatively), people will be less likely to undercut you (as they think you could get bought out pretty quickly with the high demand for mats).
By staying at the AH you can immedietly repost when an auction sells, and repost when someone does undercut you.

Fastest money in the game. I can net over a week, maybe 20k+?

Once this gets nerfed (Next patch all the costs for items goes up, and enchanting mats cost go down, therefore profits are going to be non-existent), I'll probably start up a new daily route.

Next, fly to shadow vault, get the 3 quests, head west slightly to the vrykul area to do the 3 quests there - these 3 take maybe 3 minutes combined.

What 3 quests are you getting. I only get 1 daily there, the one where you have to put the sword in the dead vrykul. I would like to know what ones that i am missing.

Theres a quest to burn down buildings with a protodrake, and another quest to shoot down drakes with harpoons. Just do every single shadow vault quest and every single quest on the ledge above the undead area south of the vrykul area to open them up I think.

The beautiful thing about these 2 quests... for burning down the buildings you can just mount a drake right next to a building with your main, fly up slightly, and shoot fire on that building over and over again (8 times) without moving and get credit on all 5 characters - this takes about 40 seconds.

For the harpoons, you can mount 5 guns with your 5 characters, aim them all at the same spot where it looks like drakes fly by often, and then whenever you see a drake near there hit your harpoon button twice and insta-gib the drakes - need 20 and it takes maybe 90-120 seconds depending on how lucky you are
