Massive 50-100 boxing

I was talking to keyclone yesterday and he was saying he wanted to try a massive 50 person boxing group.


1 person 50-100 characters.

When: We need to think of a good time in the near future

Server: Mag

Faction: Horde

Class: Have not decided But everyone need to roll the same type and style

Time: We need input from you guys

How is this going to work?
Simple. Who ever wants to help archive this. You will need.
Keyclone
2+accounts
Basic Macro knowledge

Everyone will log into their accounts. Log into the server make a new character, make them all look the same and (not sure on a name yet) but name them all kind of the same.
Start up keyclone with the ports configured so that when Keyclone (rob) logs into his keyclone account he will have access to control your characters provided if you set up all the key binding up and ports ect.

Why do this?
Why not? It will be a new milestone with dual boxing wow.

Since everyone will be making NEW characters so that they all are the same, you could do this with several trial accounts. This could considerably lower the number of people required since some people that 5-box with separate machines could theoretically support more accounts on one box.

Just figure out the maximum number of simultaneous WoW programs your machine can support and if you have fewer accounts, just make some trials.

cool stuff, was debating with somebody about the possibility of doing this via the internet. Ill try and see if i can make a trial account on a us server and perhaps take a look at what you guys are doing, would be so awesome to take a look at something as nuts as that :P.

Well thats why we have come up with a date and time. Weekend Im sure would be best.

i've been thinking about this for a while. i did something like it with 2 friends before, but i think 25+ people would be just insane. who knows how many clones we could pull together. i'd hope for 100+

either way, it would be a first on the net. we could use a couple of video journalists to capture the event

we would need to try a couple of dry runs before the big event. i'm thinking at least a week before we do it... this should allow for people to spread the word and get their characters up and ready.

we also will need to figure out what the base character is going to be. i'm thinking mages.. because 100+ fireballs would be just insane. but i'm open to suggestions. we will also need a page to detail out the macros needed.

if anyone wants to choreograph the events... please speak up. (where are we going to go.. what are we going to do)

coordinating via vent would also be a must
