So if I have a follow macro bound to F1, will that same macro be executed also when shift+F1 or ctrl+F1 are being transmitted to that window?

How FTL works is that in the macro, you make it follow different people depending on which modifiers are being held down, and as long as you don't have those key combinations bound anywhere else, the macro will do the different versions depending on the combination of modifier keys you are currently sending it while hitting the key.

Yes, I tried it out yesterday and managed to get all chars follow anyone of the five. Great!

However, one more question. If I continue buildning my entire teams with this my toon's names will be mentioned in A LOT of macros making it very complicated if I want to switch a char. E.g. I have a group with pally + 4 hunters, but when playing dungeons I sometimes replace a hunter with a priest or a druid. This will be more complicated compared to a focus based setup, or?

FTL will always be more complicated than a focus based setup.
Though Jamba or ISboxer can set up FTl for you.

Personally I use a focus setup for all my multiboxing. So I can easily just set my characters' focus to who ever I want the leader to be (no focus on leader, so their macros know they are the leader).

Thank goodness I don't have to go through all this.

All my macros are set by name to my tank.

If anyone can kill my tank with 22 healers on him then they can win.

I just play guys one at a time if the tank dies (and I cant rez him or get him back from the gy fast enough) untill everyone dies. Or I just do AOE"s that dont need a target.

Also a dead character can still target for the others, kinda hard but its possible by turning the view.

I prefer a focus based setup too.. I have 5 monitors for my boxing setup (when I do the heavier stuff like WG or heroics) so changing toons is easy no matter what (2 computers chained using InputDirector)

It also makes it easier to change leader etc, since I switch around my teams alot for guild raids etc..

Most interresting combo was priest healer, mage, hunter, boomkin and warlock dps, all macroed to follow the priest but attack the MT target.
Failing is the only way of starting over with improved knowledge. (Henry Ford)

    Team Doomkin - 5x Druids - Level 80

I still use targettarget based macros and keyclone, works well in WG and instances. I started to use isboxer and thought about ftl, but for my needs kc and targettarget is good enough, haven't found anything I can't do without a little creativity in macros and perserverance.
