Default Many of WoW: Is there no longer network support?

Edit: Solution: The missing Network (and other tabs) appear after creating a profile, as well as having the multi-box box checked in the General tab, as well as Dupliquer Touches (Duplicate touches) right below the Multi-box box being checked.

    Hi!
I have been interested in setting up Many of Wow to work with two different computers via networking. I do not know French, but translated the Many of Wow page into English. The translation seemed very clear, however, their How to Set Up Networking instructional page is rather out of date. (VII on this page: http://translate.google.com/translat...&tl=en&act=url).

Has the ability to use Many of Wow across multiple computers been depreciated, or perhaps its existence was a comically horrible translational error?

(Comparison between the latest 1.5.3 version and the outdated instruction manuals version, which includes a networking (Réseau) tab.

Any help on this matter would be amazingly kind, whether it be a yes or no answer, or simply pointing out the existence of a MoW forum or so. The program seems incredible, and seems well worth the time to translate, but we have a roadblock here

    System/situation specs: (Skipable)
For any questions about my purpose, I wish to run MoW on a linux box (Ubuntu) and broadcast keys to a Windows box on my network. I have everything ready to go with synergy, but I have just been in a seemingly endless hunt for a free linux capable and network capable key broadcasting solution.

    Thanks again

Synergy should be able to share your mouse & keys with a windows box. On the windows box you could run any script/software solution that deals with the input (ahk, hotkeynet, etc).

If you want a second opinion on a translation, feel free to ask me. While i'm not a native frenchie, it might be sufficient to spot 'lost in translations' from google.

    Hi Cluadia,

Bastok (the author of MoW) is pretty active on the French Speaking forums where a subsection holds quite a lot of threads about this software. Someone pointed out your question to him so I guess you can expect a solid answer soon

I run MOW on a linux box too, on one computer only though, but I don't remember that the network option was supposed to disappear at one point. Maybe you now need to create at least a profile and configure an account before the network tab appears.

I'll give it a try when I come home if Bastok hasn't responded in the meantime.

Awesome! Thanks so much The tab appearing after creating a profile, or a similar mechanism, is a very sensible guess, and I'll give that a try. The link to the forums is incredible: my searches on these forums and google for MoW related forums or other info were vast and tireless, yet how close to home they were.

    Thanks again

And sorry Zenga, for some reason I scrolled past without noticing your reply. I made a mistake in my Specifications that, do to work related issues, I am forced to have the linux box as my main, or server, or host
I've been waiting quite some time for synergy+ to release a key broadcasting update. Unfortunately as of now, to the best of my knowledge, key broadcasting in a multi-boxing sense is limited to the Windows only Synergy broadcasting mod. (All linux versions can broadcast to other computers, but for some reason, the host is rudely ignored.) Linux has been beautiful for multi-boxing on one computer, but for me, has been an endless search as to finding the magic answer as to meeting the key broadcasting needs of the 20-30 pay-free multi-computer multi-boxers

That's because mow automatically opens your last profile at startup. Try to create a new profile
