Never a big fan of RTS games either. Only strategy games that ever appealed to me were the ones where you take over a map country by country. You have all the time in the world in between moves too.

Games for me are to lose reality in them. Not that reality is bad it's just games allow you to do the impossible. Haven't seen any dragons around my neighborhood I looked!

SC2 and the like seem more like a job than fun. Neither would I want the severe arthritis and carpal tunnel these guys are going to have down the road.

Turn based strategies are all I can handle. What happened to games like MOO 1 & 2?

APM is a bunch of crap, imo. Who cares if you told your units to attack once, or 20 times in a second. Clicking to move to a spot over and over isn't doing anything but increasing your APM.

I got into Gold for 1v1 and had 2 teams in Plat in 2v2 in the beta, and my APM is usually only between 30 and 50.

I feel the same way about SC2 Ladder as I do about arenas. I'll do them a few times and to get achievements, but I don't find them fun. I'm more looking forward to SC2 single player, and all the custom maps.

They need to make Moo1 multi-player.

Moo2 required too much micromanagement. I hated that I couldn't just create one master queue and have all my planets just build from that as the things became available. With Moo1, while I couldn't set all planetary systems to missiles, population, production or ships with one click, I could at least just tab through all my systems and click to do it quick.

Agreed, if you watch the screen instead of his hands, he really wasn't going any faster than I was when I play and I sure as shit don't go ape shit on my keyboard like that...and while I'm not the best rts gamer there is or anything, I always did pretty decent without doing that crap...
