Why Scholomance?

There is a mob that are resistance to magic, since I am using a mage to boost my alt chars, I can't clear the whole instance.

How do you guy kill those magic resistance mob if you don't have a melee main.

You mean completely resistant to all magic schools ? I thought that mobs were never resistant to too many if not all seventh magic schools at the same time to avoid too much classe discrimination (I might be wrong though). If so, I guess you should be able to nuke these mobs using either arcane, frost or fire spells even if not those your mage is specialized in ?

Yes, total resistance to all my mage magic spell (arcane, fire, frost) . I got wipe in scholo. The only time I didn't get wipe is when the valk on my staff spawn and help to kill those magic resistance mob.

After a bit of research, I think I've found out which mob you're talking about : Risen Aberration. Indeed this one seems to be immune to all spells but holy spells. You might find some useful advices in the comments of the wowhead page I'm linking.

Your normal caster weapon works just fine and does more dps than your fishing rod in most cases.
Though i suppose the rod saves repairs.

Hmm....my caster weapon is a staff but it can't do much damage, then maybe the skill level for the staff is low too.

Yes, I did but no damage on the magic resistance mob.
