Spamming it also always ends up with my slaves battlelooting instead of killing. And keeping it separate allows me to keep my melee pealed away from a mob if I need to reposistion or re-establish a lead on agro, very useful in situations like Devourer of Souls so I'm not dragging my slaves through the pools of death.
