    Default I hate WoLK questing

my team of warriors is now 75 and it took me longer to get from 70-75 that it did for all of 0-70.
I tried to do all of the quests in the boring tundra and the fjord.
I just can't get over how tedious these quests are and it's really hard to not see them as directed at mboxers.
almost nothing is a kill quest .... almost everything is a complicated collection quest.
I'm in dragon blight and I have to burn the bodies on top of killing them. etc.
I'm so sick of hunting for quest items in the bag or even worse having to go to the internet to figure out how to do the quest.
I have 18 level 80s so it's not like I haven't done some of this before, but one group got to 80 doing just A-V before the nerfed the XP points, and another group got to 80 just doing dungeons.
everything is gimmicked in some way.

I'm sick of playing my level 80s, I can' only raid so much time, I enjoy leveling alternates until they reach 70... then I just hate the game. I spent an hour picking up feathers on 5 characters and pretty much didn't get any XP for an hour. I spent another hour doing captured prey... another wasted hour doing crap work. it would not be so bad if it was just one quest but they are ALL like that. I know blizzard knows how to make fun content. the Island of Q was a prime example of it.

I asked a non-boxer if he liked collection quests and he said "I don't think anyone likes a collection quest" ? WHAT????? how could they make such crappy content if they know nobody likes it?

Oh well, sure hope Cat isn't just more WoLK or I may have to move on.

I'm leveling my priest team right now (my moonkins are 80) and they just hit 71. I've done most of Borean Tundra and am about 1/2 way through Howling Fjord. I never did it before, so this time I started reading the quests instead of going directly for the objective. It's actually really helped the boredom - there are some cool stories and questlines that make it a little more entertaining.

For the most part the default UI has a pretty good questhelper and you shouldn't be needing to search on the internet. I do, however, check how many quests are after a collection quest to see if it's worth my time. Often if it's chained with another collection quest then I just skip it entirely. I think there are more than enough quests in WotLK that you could skip the majority of collection quests and do just fine.

    When's the next AV weekend?

Also, it sounds like you just hate the game right now may be time for a break

i leveled my druids and loved every minute of it. All druids teams are such a joy to level, they can loot quest items in flight form.. starfall down massive amounts and get kill+collection type quest done way faster than any other comp. That said, there are so many quests in WotLK that you can skip many of the collection quests. I started at 68 with my druids and did every quest in BT .. HF and DB and hit 80 half way through GH. I could have skipped the most irritating collection quests if i wanted to. But for druids they were easy. Any other team i level to 80 will be skipping most of them.

And Xeno, why are you looking through your bags for quest items??? you have Jamba item bar man!!

when yu place an item on the jamba item bar.. it will be there on all your slaves ( i choose to show the bar on my slaves in item bar options )

I use it for the click item you need to use during a quest and for the items you loot off mobs that start a quest. You have to go into the WoW key bindings.. scroll down to jamba item bar and make a key bind(s) for the slots. So when you get,for example, a quest starter item ( like the chicken egg quest starters in the 40s ) You place it in the bar with your leader and it will be there on your alts as well,, hit your key bind for that slot ( i use shift+\ ) and it will use the item on all accounts ( opens the quest in this case) SO no need to dig through your bags on all your slaves.. just the leader!

I stick an ISBoxer repeater region over my item bar. Saves me a few key binds (which I'll probably forget if I don't write it down anyway).

Blizzard is trying to give the whole questing experience a bit more depth, so rather than just sending us to kill x mobs (which is boring after a while) the quests tell you to talk to this guys, use this object, find that stuff, mix this and that, etc
In my opinion it brings much more to the game and I find it awesome.
The fact that it's a bit annoying to boxers is only a side effect, but honestly at this point of the game you could turn 80 by just doing the BT and HF quests. Go to the other zone and pick the ones you like.

Jamba Items will simplify your task ALOT, it's just like single toon questing.

In cata the whole quest mechanic is changing again, and you won't have to travel as much etc. Although it seems like a great change for levelling junkies, lore lovers might find it a bit meh. I'm on the fence on that one.

No one has said anything. It makes to much sence not to do something to help newer players get up to CaTA levels. No one will buy a new game when you must put 100's of hour before you can play the new parts of the game.
Maybe it won't matter as Blizzard will want you to start at level 1 and do new quests.
RAF Tour Guide files are obsolete, I went to Zygor
    MultiBoxers play with themselves
