From the game-play trailer I watched today I'd be hard pressed to see boxing a full encounter as viable as it is with WoW.

You see the whole team splitting up all over the place.

I love the smell of electrocution in the morning!
I hope like hell they do have character clipping activated in this game. Nothing pisses me off more about tryin to play a game as when people intentionally block a doorway or any path and you have no way to get around or through them. This is one reason I stopped playing Day of Defeat and Counter Strike. People would get right in the way in the spawn points and prevent anyone from getting out. With no admins on, and Vote Kick and FF turned off, the only option was to drop out and find another server. Not to mention this can also cause problems if NPCs in the game itself become stuck and you can't get them to move.
I will definately be playing SW:TOR, will wait to see some gameplay settings, ie follow commands etc to decide if i will box or not.
If Multiboxing is viable, will everyone here think of going the same server?
I didn't read much of the thread, but I like seeing people say things like this
(ViperI on page 43)If it's 5 characters controlled by 1 person using 5 keyboards/mice/monitors and no macros, then I'm fine with it. If it's 5 characters controlled by 1 person with macros and 3rd party software to broadcast commands to all characters on one computer, that I have a problem with.
... because I can't imagine they've thought this through.
All anyone would have to do to skirt this type of rule is exactly what Kromtor did in the highly publicized EVE multiboxing debacle -- dowels, popsicle sticks, etc. The only thing this rule would accomplish is to give the advantage to people with a lot more money to burn on hardware.
