    Default [HotKeyNet] Cannot bind

    Hi Freddie.

    I'm having some trouble with one of my hotkey binds. It is with the 'Numpad /' , aka <DIVIDE>. As far as I can tell it is being recognised by HKN and is being listed in the set of binds displayed when you load a file. However, it won't hook onto the key.

    Here is the output from the bind listing for <DIVIDE>

    Code:

    cHotkeyTable: DIVIDE
    cHotMainKey: DIVIDE ModStates: 10010001
    <DIVIDE>
    SendTo = 0.0.0.0 "" 4160992
    SendTo = W.X.Y.Z "" 0
    <LCTRL DIVIDE>
    SendTo = 0.0.0.0 "" 4160992
    SendTo = W.X.Y.Z "" 512
    <LALT DIVIDE>
    SendTo = 0.0.0.0 "" 4160992
    SendTo = W.X.Y.Z "" 64
    Any thoughts?

    Also as a feature request, is it possible to have the HKN on/off toggle bindable?

    Sorry for the aggravation with the <divide> key. This is a known bug that was reported a few days ago here in another thread by Draku. I should have put a line through DIVIDE in the instructions so you didn't have to waste time on it. My apologies.

    I already tracked down the cause of the bug and I don't think it affects any other key. I'll fix it in the next couple of days.

    Unfortunately, I wrote the program in such a way that when hotkeys are off, they are really off. This means a hotkey that is supposed to turn them back on will not be seen by the program and cannot turn anything back on.

    I can think of a couple of ways to get around this problem, but they all involve unpleasant things like rewriting fundamental parts of the program or adding large parallel chunks of code just for that one key. I'd like to avoid that sort of repair if possible. Let me think about it for a few days, and I'll try to come up with a solution.

    Thanks for writing.

    I thought I'd read something like that recently but couldn't find it again :S - even so, I think I thought it was about something else.

    In case you didn't see my reply in the other thread, this has now been added to the program.
