I called Blizzard when my bros' account got hacked?

They told me to fuck off (politely), and that they couldn't do anything.

Bro had to call himself to tell them what was going on.

    1) they gave him his account back
    2) 1 hour later they permanently banned the account, stating that it was used in illegal gold sales or something
    3) two days later he got through again and got his account back

Long story short - blizzard DOES NOT communicate internally. Left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing and all that. They will get it fixed though - just be patient.

Yes, Windows XP is broken and unsafe and should never be used again.

I receive bogus emails from scammers trying to impersonate blizzard daily. The email attacks are really getting people fooled into putting their login info at the bogus websites.

Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?”

I don't click emails, in fact I ignore all blizzard emails and send them directly to spam folder. When I have a problem I go directly to the account management page. This was most likely from that flash vulnerability that I didn't get updated for a while because I didn't know about it. After addind authenticator I made a new email address, just for wow. I will never log into it from home, only from my phone. Hopefully after blowing up my HD and reinstalling everything that will be enough security. I've also decided to not browse WoW related sites from my WoW computer.

I didn't say XP was broken and unsafe, please stop putting words in my mouth.

    No, you said

Wouldn't recommend any other OS besides Windows 7 to use these days.
That means that you would not recommend

    Windows XP
    Mac OS-X
    etc.

Unless you learned English on Mars or something.

There is nothing wrong with these two OSes (I won't ever recommend Linux to anyone - sure, it works, but its always a hack to get anything working correctly). And Vista - although it works - is a resource hog and not a very good gaming platform.

Yes, because you can play WoW on an Amiga.

Dude, have you been hanging out with Sam Deathwalker lately or what?
