Today was update day so no WoW. I started thinking about what I want to do in game. I finally got Exalted Cahmpion of the Alliance on my Druid. I only do JC daily and the tourney ones for seals. Once in a while I will que for WG but that seems like a waste of time as all I do is make corpse runs. LFD was fun but I feel like I am peaked out at 4k GS and 1800 SP. Never get in a raid, and mostly no one in guild wants to run anything in the AM.
What do you do to keep it going? Only think about clearing up the bank alts for now. No urge to level new toons.
Take a break and watch DVDs and think about all this money not being played.

When wow pays for itself you no longer feel obligated to play to justify the expense.

You can try the following:

1 ) Try to to kill Maghteridon, Doomwalker and Lord Kazzak
2 ) Go explore the old raids instances. BWL and MC will be gone or reworked after expansion. You may want to see that great raid instance as it is now.
3 ) Go and make AQ20 and AQ40 runs. If you manage to kill the first boss and twins boss in AQ40 the first time without wiping you will have my respect for life.
4 ) If you have a warlock in your team then go to ZG and enslave one of the demon imps you can see there. Even being a lvl 60 enslaveable demons, they are the biggest DPS enslaveable demon in the game. You will love to blow things with these. Hint, the demon fireball has 0.5 GCD.
5 ) Roll an unusual team just for the lols. I rolled 5 warlocks and they were a squad of fun and lols from start to end. Also have 5 mages and 5 priests teams in progress. Once you reach lvl 80 with these teams you can just use a toon or two of them to spice your usual group once expansion is released.
6 ) Go try "solo" Naxx. Lots of the bosses are quite doable and relatively fun. Expect some wipes until you get the right tactics.
7 ) Kite the dragon in Feralas to Ogrimar.
8 ) Kite the dragon in Duskwood to Stormwind.

9 ) Use an assist focus setup. Drive your team to the other faction town gates. Make a lvl 1 toon on the other faction side and make your other toons /focus on that lvl 1 toon. Then start marking people for death. Something like "XXX has been marked for death!" ... your other toons oneshot XXX... Everyone around laughs at XXX and he freaks big time. Just make sure you don't abuse that because most people don't mind being killed at the town gate once, but if you kill the same person 5 times in a row it's quite annoying for them. Be creative and have fun.
10 ) Same as before, but now fight 5 duels at the same time... it's doable but very difficult to with the 5. So far I have managed to win 4 duels from 5.

5x pally was very fun and one of the fastest teams I got to 80 with ( no RAF ).
they seemed to be instance machines until 80.
I hear 5x druid can be fun too, they can be wicked in the 50-79 AVs

you are hardly "peaked" at 4k GS and 1800 SP. You should be able to get to 5k GS and over 2k SP just with badge gear. As far as raiding is concerned, I certainly understand how you feel.

just a thought, but Coltimar and I both are on daytime. We are beginning to raid as well and would gladly welcome another boxer to the guild. We are on Doomhammer if you'd like to give either of us a shout.

I managed to get my first 5 team to 80 a little while ago, have done various dungeons and a done a bit of solo'ing for gear, so far, it's been fun.

Though I was getting sick of being left out of raid's and what not like you.

So for fun I decided to level 5xDeath Knights, most people will ask "why?" even I don't know why, I cannot possibly see many good reasons for doing it, and to be honest i HATE leveling.

BUT, I didn't have anywhere near this much fun when I leveled my mixed team, and on the rare occasions I do enter a BG (I only do AV) it's awesome fun.

Not sure if you have done any melee toons, but I think thats what keeps it interesting, it's tricky as hell, but I enjoy the challenge.

For me, once i get burned out on a particular aspect, I just do another aspect. I bounce between PvP boxing, PvE boxing, solo PvE raiding, leveling alts, getting professions ready for cataclysm, playing the AH game etc etc. If you don't want to "work" at the game, then take a break for a while. It's a game, its supposed to be fun, not a chore.

a lot of welcome ideas posted. I have already tried some (5 dk, 5 druid, quested for gold, got swift flyer mode, got exalted in 10 places. been doing the holiday event for 3-4 year so most of that is burned out.
As some of you read, I canceled 5 accounts. I have time on one account to play until December. I would not of thought back in the first of the year I would feel this way.
For the offer of daytime, I get off work at 5 am Server and play for 2-3 hours. Most people only have time to run their dailies and a herioc before work. I did the LFD until I dropped some days, I got most of the Triumph gear. I am not quite good enough to the run every ICC dungeon yet to get the frost badges needed for gear.
I was going to start a RAF account or two for different classes and to work on the Tour guide files. That may still happen.
I am going to take a break, build a new boxing computer and watch what happens to BlizzTard. Of course I will hang around DB.com until they ban me for filling the boards with all my depressing rants and groans

I understand your reasons for cancelling your accounts. I'm still debating what I will eventually do reagrding RealID myself. I also usually get done with work around 5 am (cst). Coltimar and I started our guild because no one else we knew actually played during the morning / daytime hours.

If you change your mind, or decide to try a new server, let me know. We can get you hooked up with bags, starter gear, etc etc.
